I don't agree with your take.
Dark themes are to make you feel sad or down. Nothing wrong with that. Kids playing this game are murdering people. So I don't think protecting the kids is also the right answer to this.
It is ok to feel offended or sad in a story, they are not feelings we should look away from, and I don't know your mental state, but it is your job to protect yourself, we can't give warnings to every little thing that could bother someone.
I did get a chuckle with the word trigger though. Fitting in this case.
Balmung moment.
I suffer from Severe Depression, Panic Attacks and Adaptive Disorder, so one can say that my mental health is down the drain. I take a lot of pills just to be able to stay somewhat positive and being able to sleep.
So I am from the group that according to you supposedly "needs" a "trigger warning".
No I do NOT need a trigger warning, the scene was lukewarm at best. And it does not show anything. The Tesleen scene from ShB was worse for me.
You can prepare yourself all you want if you turn-off automatic advance of story text.
No. People die and get killed all the time over the course of the story and that wasn't an issue for you, was it?
Trigger warnings in games and tv/movies are annoying and effectively spoilers. Most of the time if you get a trigger warning you know exactly what is about to happen.
No it doesn't. If anyone has been following the story and are somehow shocked a scene like that could happen then they clearly have not been paying attention. This isn't even the first scene of its kind that we saw. Far from it.
I hope this is bait because it's ridiculous.
