might as well add a trigger warning at the beginning of the game, like when u create a character or something, how about that?

So between me making this post, and now, I had a friend actually take their life this way, so I believe EVEN MORE that we should have trigger warnings. It happened last year exactly one year ago. My closest friend was convinced that their debt meant they needed to end their suffering, because they had no family to lean on. Their family was abusive to them growing up, and did stuff that I won't say in this forum. Its not appropriate.
If I had seen this scene after reading the police report, and having to grieve, I may have reacted in a way that wasn't safe. I had an attempt of my own half a year ago from now, because the dread of losing a dear friend to suicide is HORRIBLE. I cannot put into words how much it feels when someone you love takes their life. Especially when you have to see the lifeless body of your friend with a shotgun to the face. I still get awful dreams about it. This has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to grow through. To this day it is the hardest death that I grieve.
Therefore I believe that before this scene in Endwalker a brief but to the point content warning would be helpful. All it needs is something along the lines of stating the emotional, and visual intensity of the following cutscenes. A little blurb about mental health, and rest before viewing them would be wonderful. I imagine anyone who went through what I did who has yet to still witness this scene in the game is going to have a hard time, and they absolutely deserve to play this game like everyone else. One cutscene they aren't prepared for shouldn't be detrimental to that.
So to the troll that necro'd this thread. Great job bringing a subject back that I am struggling to deal with on my dear friends death anniversary. Pat yourself on the back, I hope you feel good knowing that you made a real life event even harder for someone to face.

Research show that having a trigger warning just make it worse and does not help https://nationalpost.com/news/world/trigger-warnings

Naoki Yoshida:
Source: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/113554 at 1:14:22...Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
TitanMen is Damian's biggest fan. Every time he comes back he always necros Damian's threads lmao
