what is the meaning of early acces ? many ppl seems to have forgoten what it means !

I did a workaround by logging in before peak hours.

Which is fine and dandy for those that can. Others, myself included, work during non-peak hours, and try to get online after work to unwind and enjoy an evening of gaming. I wanted to get online to play with friends last night, but with the 3 hours I get to play in the evenings, and a 7k queue to get online(with my average queue time on Sat and Sunday morning - around 9:30am mountain time - both times being 2.5 hours) I just didn't even bother waiting in queue, I closed FF right away and tried to find something else to do

Honestly I would agree if streamers didnt exist and people posting vudeos of the game, which then players will scream and pressure ppl to watch to maje easy on them.

When people know thats going to happen (and it will) it creates justified feelings. People being ahead is fine, people h
Ahead posting videos of it unyil atleast 5 months after isn't. If this company dud something about that and what causes id agree with you completely.

Put it to you this way they dont get in cant get msq done in time to farm tomes good have to spend more gil to avoid this issue (maybe)
They not only can't experince the msq themself without it being ruined but now the raid is ruined for them to because if videos. So nothing is fesh until they add a new msq trail/ally raid months later.

Which cant be avoided if yiu watch anything from the fame series, like i listen to old ff music all the time and cant hit by a list of ffxiv spoiler fits every time i logon to youtube.

With dingeons its okay because trust tajes some of that away, and u can experience it your own way. Only until they sdd trust as an option for the entire ganes atleast 1st time would i agree with the notion.
Not because im against team plsy but im against streamer/video nonsrnse making the game pointless to play withiut experiencing things yourself atleast the first time. After first time can remove it as an option but

I understand your point of view. Plus, it’s frustrating to see people progress and not being able to log in the game yourself in the same time.
But you can entirely avoid to see those videos if you don’t want to see them. This is my case : I ignore streamer content to keep the pleasure of the discovery.
It’s up to players to watch it or no, eventually.

Well, it's no longer early access since it is the official launch day for Endwalker, so now it's just plain can't play the regular online game that is up and running for most other people.

This kind of explains my frustration with this situation. Everyone is talking about how incredible Endwalker is and having conversations I can't take part in because I am unable to log in. It isn't that I didn't buy or register it or did something wrong myself it's just the server's inability to host me while everyone else gets to enjoy this, from what I hear, incredible monumental expansion.

Since I am not of level for Endwalker MSQ yet, are you seriously suggesting I should stop logging in and questing along in the older content I am in just because it is early access for others? I am living through the 2002 nightmare just like everyone else even though I am not part of the Early Access.

The bugs with the congestion are affecting everyone not just Early Access people.

This isn't really early access. Even if you are playing non-endwalker content you are getting effected. The early access is just last minute to receive the pre order bonus. The full release was the 7th. The official release is the deadline for preorder bonuses. Nothing new comes out on the official release.

Anyone who thinks early access is just beta testing is wrong imo. It is just a marketing gimmick to get as many pre orders out as possible. And quite frankly I have no issue with it.

This is bait obviously. But in the off chance it isn't...What exactly about the games expansion isn't finished? The servers are the issue not the game itself.

It really would have been simpler and far more educational for you to just say you don't understand what early access means in a setting like this, as opposed to beta or alpha.
