Question for EW MSQ finishers (No spoilers).

Serious question I would like to know for the people that have finished the EW MSQ already is... Did ya'll just skip the cutscenes so you could be done so soon?

watched and enjoyed every scene. Just had holiday booked and some fairly lucky logging to be done.

Admittedly, I do wholly regret not pacing it much more.

Watched every cutscene and even did a couple of side quest chains for the lore. The MSQ doesnt take that long to get through really. Especially since it goes ways you never could have imagined so it sucks you in all the way through.

Aside from yesterday, I got a decent amount of gameplay Friday, Saturday and today. I read and watch every scene, but only 1/2 done. Just find it crazy how some folks have already finished it. Maybe the reason some are done is that they spent 100% of their time with the MSQ and I myself have also been doing dailies, marketboard/retainers etc stuff.

The only people I know who've finished it skipped the cutscenes and blitzed their way through in a marathon stretch. There I was RP walking any time I was in town or doing an escort quest...

I watched and read every cutscene. I talked to the other NPCs. I played nearly 20 hours each night starting on December 3rd at 3am, Dec 4th at 2:40am, and Dec 5th at 2:30am. At around 7pm ish on Dec 5th I had completed Endwalker and received the post credits scene. I took days off to ensure I could and planned on no life'ing it. So... I did that. I had food bought so I could just microwave it. Tried to do everything like use the toilet or heat food up in 15min breaks.

I supposed it's possible to be done already if you started playing right away at 1am PST on Friday morning and were lucky enough to get in, then just played the entire weekend. I myself got in Friday evening (eventually) and played all night. But I wanted to main reaper, so spent all Friday night and part of Saturday getting it to 80. Coincidentally, that's that fastest I've ever gained 10 levels. Went from 70 to 80 in barely a day. But I also had lots of xp boosts plus pixie dailies and Bozja so it's not much of an accomplishment lol.

But imagine my surprise when I finally got to Old Sharlyan and saw numerous players at level 89 and I think I saw a 90, not sure. And this was on freaking Saturday afternoon! How the heck did they go so fast?

The MSQ seems to move fast, though. I'm already at level 82 and am done with the first dungeon and I've barely started playing it.

I agree, to me skipping the story is like buying a book and using it for other uses other than reading. I just don't know how people have flown through it so fast is only why I asked.
