You mean the same people who botched pretty much every expansion release? With broken quests, broken queues, broken servers, broken flight paths that unexpectedly ejected you to your death and couldn't get back to your body? Those same people?

The servers in WoW do not work very well. They do not have huge queues (OK, WoW classic was a big exception with 20+k queues. ) but they are very laggy. You have ability lags on open world bosses, loot lag, lags when you buy from or sell something to a vendor etc.

so many strawman arguments on this forum lol i understand wow bad ffxiv good, but we are talking about the queue system and in wow is extremely robust while here is just crap

in world of satancraft when you get disconnected and there is a queue you can reconnect instantly because every player that was in the game has a 10 min grace period to reconnect, the same thing happens when you get dc while on queue, there is literally no excuse to no have this function when the "enemy team" implemented that almost 10 years ago

I have never said that i am happy with the current state of the FF14 servers. But i would not put the WoW servers on a pedestal. They have also their own issues.

I agree here. This mechanic is partially implemented. When you are in a queue and you get a disconnect/2002 then you will be put in your old position again when you reconnect. But this is not the case when you are already in the game or when you get a 2002 in the loading screen.
