The correct way to make the announcement would have been "We are reimbursing you 7 days of playtime from your subscription. We might reimburse more days at a later date if the problem persists".

I agree, I don’t care about free anything, I just want what I paid for. Pretty simple really.
It doesn’t help things with people trying to defend this though, it’s a bit weird to watch really.



Yet here you are with a topic complaining about how the free time we are being given should not be called free because.. wah.
You paid for a months subscription. At the moment they are crediting you 168 hours more for no charge. This is what we call free. Regardless of a players situation, they are being allotted these days. You can complain about your particular situation all you like and quite honestly I feel for the EU servers since they're getting gobsmacked and were obviously not prepared for this at all. BUT.. now you have a new topic absolutely denying that they've done what they've done because you want to try and make them look like villains when all you really need to do is state what your problem is and not embellish it.

For the majority of people they are still able to play, like myself. However, there is also the point that you paid for 30 days subscription. That subscription does not guarantee access. You got what you paid for, your subscription. Do you complain that when they take the servers offline for a day for a patch, that you didn't get your one day back? This is free subscription time, plain and simple. You are just trying to create outrage where it isn't needed. Also, Yoshi-P stated that more time would be given if needed.Speak for others, I have not demanded for free stuff. I have demanded for what I paid for. Simple.

Done. You are being given back those 7 days you claim to be losing now. Matter solved.
As for myself, I've been able to play every day since launch (the only joy of being an European playing in a NA server), so these extra 7 days will be indeed free for me. Thank you, SE!
