Very sad to hear! I dislike the Npc missions too but mostly coz they have like 4 spells at best which is kinda... zzz inducing!

Am sure, if you breath a little, relax and try again you can do it!

That's the thing I already did that, came back, failed a couple MORE times, then found out there's another stage of it I hadn't even gotten to yet (playing as catboy)

I don't generally like MMO's and I was really loving this game but this has been so frustrating it spoiled my good feelings for the MSQ (which I adored at one point, defeating Elidibus is one of the most narratively fulfilling things I've seen in a game in a long time)

And I *know* there will be more of it going forward so like... why even bother I'm just going to have to play as Thancred at some point and my mood will be ruined again

There are literally 5 other games I can be playing that don't even cost me subscriptions like FF14 does, and putting in half an hour of pointless, frustrating stuff that I have to redo over and over again if I fail is just too much. If you're going to put fail states in then I should be using my character.
