Giving up on early release.

Wait until the normal release, when many more jump in to start playing Endwalker all day.

People keep saying this, but I would guess about 90% of people that are going to get Endwalker have pre-ordered for early access. With reviews and things being said currently about not being able to get into the game I highly doubt people that were waiting for reviews will be purchasing the game at launch. Early access may as well be called the launch date.

Been with the game since 1.0 so I have seen my share of server ups and downs.

I don't mind the queue, if it works. Problem is that the queue doesn't always. I get in a queue and will wait hours and then get Error 2002 again. So I rush to try to get back into the queue--sometimes it remembers where I was, other times I start at the top. That's where the BS is at, because that's probably a bad coding problem. That's arguably something that should have been fixed a long time ago.

Also because all worlds are congested, I can't try to find a lower population server to jump into either, so the proposed countermeasure of try to relieve congestion by logging into another server isn't actually an option, so I'm unsure why it was proposed as such.

I think it's less like poor coding (though this game has more than its share of that) and more like the login system gasping for air and never getting any. lol It is just THAT overwhelmed right now that it's just freaking out. It just...can't even.

Oh, that's a bad thing. Not really much of a debate to be had there. Like I said, I just don't think the system is holding its own too well against an endless tide of players. When under enough duress any system is going to react in unexpected ways, regardless of how it was coded.

Yeah. I'm reaching this point as well. Not that I expected an early release to go 'smoothly' like ShB did but the error messages are what's having the worst impact on me.

I'm all good with long waiting times but if I'm guaranteed nothing for those waiting times then what's the point? Some of my friends have speedrun the MSQ and are having a blast. I'm sat here meanwhile not being able to engage at all.

Just going to play something else until they get these issues fixed. The content itself looks amazing and I can't wait to try it but I am definitely disappointed. The free week is nice and I appreciate it but all in all it doesn't make up for not being able to play the game.

People PAID for a license to access a game. If he cannot even play then what do you expect. Lets say you order a Taxi cab a week in advance to to make a plane. You give yourself four hours and then the cab service says they have a cab on the way. Then they say they have a cab on the way. Then they say they don't know who you are and you will have to wait in line...and you eventually miss you flight because it took over four hours. Or maybe you bought a movie ticket ahead of time and they knew there were not enough seats for you for the next three showings....but didn't tell you until after the first showing was supposed to start. No problem right its just money and your time...which is actually very important to some people. Stop justifying malfeasance of a multimillion dollar company.

They should not have released the game nor should they have taken peoples money until they knew they could support it.

If you have a great deal of money you don't mind spending you can send it to me... and I will give you nothing sound good?
