It's an expansion launch. Every MMO has them. Every MMO has server issues during them. Complaining does nothing but further make the devs hate the players. It happened in WoW and will happen here too.
Right, why expect things you pay for to work properly and be available to you, just accept that you pay for the chance to play not to actually use the software.
