Sincere Recommendation: Accept you will not be able to play, walk away for a while

Okay, who then will reimburse me these missed days/weeks/months? Let me remind you that this game isn't free to play, so why should I just forget about playing for a month (or how long?) when i paid money for it? Is this my or any other player problem?

yes it sadly is the players problem. where the protest? where the demand of a compensation? there non. so where is the part SE care? you did payed for the game there nothing SE need form you after this.

I can also understand someone being unhappy and if they silently took their money elsewhere, they have full right to.

It's concerning because they may lose some players. Also since it seems they just can't get hold of semi-conductors or more server capacity, it means they literally have a limit on how much playerbase they can hold. Which means there's a limit on how successful the expansion can be, because if it was too successful the servers would choke again and they'd bleed players until it went back down to the limit.

That's a shame really, it's a big opportunity for the game and it might slip through their fingers.

Good I didn't buyed 6 months subscription, only for 1 month. Only 13 euro wasted, I can watch now changing queue numbers and error 2002 every few hours.

Huge problem with SE its that they never ever compensate players for their incompetence in terms of money/items/free stuff 0 nothing. Just be honest the majority bought the expansion because Early Access, half of the people (like me) gonna have to wait 1-2 weeks to even get a reasonable gaming experience without DC's or waiting 3-5 hours to log in.

Hey SE what about a free Fantasia, or just gift SOMETHING for ONCE to your dearest player base that pay 15 usd monthly because some other companies always gives free stuff to players for even suscribe to Twitch or vote for them in Awards, if the maintenance takes to long etc.

It is a live service and they are doing their best to make it available for as many people as possible. When they can get their hands on some servers things will improve, once more people finish msq and play a bit less things will also improve. People acting like other MMO's major releases all go off without a single issue, esp after such a surge in playerbase.

I agree with OP, I've already been considering it but if I can't log in today, I'm likely going to unsub for a month, explore some other alternative games to see if there's anything else out there I like more, and if not try again in January.

So far I'm going on day 3 of not being able to log in at all. I pay to play this game because it's stress relief, it's something I use to take my mind away from work/responsibilities/life etc., so whenever I can't actually play it then I find something else to do with the little time I have to play. As it is, I'm not going to wait 2-3hrs for a queue since I only have 2-3hrs to play at a time...

lol, Actually, yeah, as someone who works in software / hardware production, I honestly do want companies to stop overselling their products and actually support what they put out in the world. Not whatever this current silliness is. Their "best" can be a lot better, and thinking otherwise of a literal billion dollar company that's practically drowning in funds right now is disconcerting.

staying in convo with an npc does not work anymore. I had to step away for a bit last night for some IRL stuff during a text convo with thancred - and as I sat down, I got red text saying inactivity will log me out.

Yeah that's the thing that gets me about people wanting them to throttle sales. Can you imagine the backlash? Going from being able to just buy the expansion when you wanted to to having to be one of the lucky ones who got there early? And if you don't, no expansion for you.

Huge fan of the game, was able to get in every early in the AM but logged out cause I had to work, seriously annoyed Consider the boundary conditions of the login problem:

1. More product has been sold than can be delivered.
2. Infrastructure improvements to help deliver the oversold product is not possible due to supply chain issues.
3. Competition to log in will only increase immediately after early access.
4. To avoid queues, players will not log out. Auto logout is easily bypassed by staying in dialogue with an NPC, auto running into a wall (not tested), macro keys, etc.

The situation will not improve anytime soon. By no means am I supporting that this is an acceptable or excusable situation. I am making an appeal to fellow fans who are getting frustrated by waiting and waiting to get in. Don't do it, your time is too valuable.

Selling a product and then effectively saying, "by the way there will be issues with providing what we sold you but hey we warned you" is a morally bankrupt way to conduct business. Clearly, commercial interests and bottom line sales were prioritized. Apologies are a cheap way to make money, they don't cost anything.

If you are frustrated, walk away, there is no solution. Don't waste your valuable free time and energy friends. Come back and enjoy the game another day ... week?
