I was all excited to play the new expac and now I keep getting the lobby error. This is NOT right. DONT SELL MORE COPIES THAN YOU CAN SUPPORT SQUARE. I would have rather it said the game is full and not for sell for a period of time than to pay my money then not be able to play at all.
I want a refund of my subscription if I cant play the game!

Well if your paying a sub and you can't play because of there lobby giving 2002 errors then it's like them breaking a business contract. Even before covid and chip shortage they could have upgraded and leased more server to prepair for the future content and players.

What you need to do is file a complaint with the FTC. If they get enough of them, they'll act on it. That's how Koreans got refunds in 2012 after the Diablo 3 launch. I believe CD Projekt Red and Bethesda had to offer the same for unplayable releases.

So basically anyone who doesn't buy the game in time doesn't get to play at all, according to your "Logic." And if they used this policy, you'd probably be here complaining you can't buy the game because they ran out of copies.

Enjoy your banned account then. And don't play future mmos on launch days of big expacs. This happens on every mmo.
