What Hairstyles are Unlockable for Viera?

Well, there ya go. I guess that they were spending much of their time trying to get the coding right or something as well as getting the launch of patch 6.0 ready. Hopefully, we'll get more hairstyles in the future. I'm enjoying the male viera very much.

Where in the patch notes did you read that particular promise? Or, for that matter, in which marketing campaign was it a major talking point? Who promised it, and when?

All I've seen and read is information about there being quite a large number of hairstyles for Male Viera at launch. And there are.

I said nothing about a promise. But they have already given you a link with Yoshida himself telling us about the lack of restrictions for MViera. If that were the case, why can't I use every hairstyle I have unlocked like I can with every other race? Anyhow, I don't even care, by now we shouldn't even be talking about this. It shouldn't even be an issue. Solve it once and for all and stop lying about limitations. To be honest what I hate the most about all this situation is having been lied to by Yoshida but to top it all, knowing that no one will care because it's him, who is never wrong. And this game is never wrong.

I am disappointed myself in the 6 hairstyles we got for female Viera. Not mad, just disappointed. I am not a fan of short hair to begin with. I was really hoping for the Gyr Abanian braid hairstyle, I personally thought it would e perfect for viera, already being sort of poofy? I do trust that they will slowly dribble the other hairstyles to us, and hopefully we get any NEW ones from the get go.

Well, I think I've actually confirmed I do really care being lied to, it's kind ofthe opposite, don't you think. Maybe you don't care because you don't play a MViera or have had to deal with 2 years of bad excuses for FVieras and Hrothgars.
I'm not worried about points in the forums. Who cares about that? (well, apparently, you) I care about the game, my character and the honesty of the developers, which I find lacking in this respect. It was said by the director himself and they did not deliver so, yes, it was a lie. Stop using the notes as an excuse. As far as I'm concerned I have nothing else to discuss with you. Well, I would say that the reason why they've added only 1 in-game hairstyle, 1 from mogstation and several from unlockables for each gender is simply to test them out or something. I remember them saying that the reason why they couldn't add any is due to the coding for both Viera and Hrothgar which they stated earlier that they fixed it, and that the male Viera wouldn't have any problems like what the female Viera and Hrothgar had suffered. The fact that they've added some hairstyles for both genders and that the male viera isn't locked behind the expansion alone makes me happy.

You're more than welcome to go play other MMO games. DPZ2 already had clarified it for you. Unless you're working at SE to know the inner-workings on how FFXIV and it's engine works for SE in not delivering both races fully optimized, you have no right to whine about.

I mean... They could've chose hairstyles that are more in demand, their selection felt a bit random... I still have yet to see a Viera wear any of the new hairstyles.

Modern Aesthetics: Both ways and form and function (I assume) would've been an easy choice due to being shorter and most likely more popular. I feel sceptical because I have this feeling that we're going to be waiting for a while until we receive more.

And yes, I have two male Viera alts as of yesterday morning, and the only hairstyle I got for them pre-Endwalker doesn't work. Then again, I was given no guarantee by the developers that they would work.

I dislike it when someone accuses another of lying, when what they really mean is that they're disappointed that what they hoped to see, based on no promises made by SE, wasn't there. Female Hrothgar and Male Viera come to mind.
