Are Healers in PF not split?

I just ran a trial roulette with a friend and we had two Sages. I was under the impression that there was a split where each trial/roulette through party finder would have 1 WHM/AST -and- 1 SGE/SCH. Is this a bug or did something change that I missed?

PF is not DF, roulette uses duty finder and fills based on what’s available.

It only applies to Raid Finder and it has been known since months.

The way I've been speculating it works is that the roulette will try to do 1 regen and 1 barrier healer for the roulette if it can but will double up if there's little to no options available to achieve that. Since alot of people are leveling their sages then the lower level roulettes will have a decent chance of being double sage right now. Every-time I've ran the 83 trial it's always paired my scholar with a whm or ast as opposed to another sch or a sge myself.

Again I do not know if that's the case or just coincidence, it's just what my own observations seem to be showing.

No.

Only Raid Finder forces regen+shields, so in reality NA and EU servers aren't even affected by the healer split in matched content because NA and EU players don't queue for matched savage/extreme content when it is current.

I believe Yoshi P said in the new raid content meaning 6.0+ When you use duty finder there will always be 1 barrier and 1 pure healer. Older content will not. In PF you can adjust it however you like.

The new raid content (normal mode) won’t be out until December 21st I believe since that will be 2 weeks after official launch.

Yoshi specifically said it would be for *Raid Finder*, not duty finder, and that people who set up *Party Finders* will be able to adjust it.
