Fran and Mjrn's hairstyles please?

Hello.

As everyone knows, Fran played quite a huge part in XII being one of the main characters and I'm absolutely mind baffled that we haven't received her hairstyle yet. People can argue there would be clipping issues, but isn't that the case with greater lengths yet people manage to make it work regardless? Also, her sister Mjrn, albeit played a small part in the story has the most ADORABLE bob haircut that I think would be a great addition to the Viera hairstyle roster.



Also, before anyone states how Fran's hairstyle is 'one of a kind' that should only be for her, it really isnt a one of a kind. Clearly, at the beginning of XII there is a Viera with the exact same length hairstyle only without the Viera helmet.



And finally, before anyone comes at me with "But everyone should get those hairstyles" all I'm gonna say is; Viera's have tolerated 2 years without new hairstyles and we will most likely never be able to wear a lot of the helmets... So, I don't think the idea is unreasonable in expanding our roster by these two extra options.

I'm surprised her hair isn't in already. I wasn't aware of this tbh. Maybe they excluded it because they didn't want a lot of exact Fran clones.

her hair is already in the game its the 3rd hair option in the top row (it doesnt have the faceguard but its still her hair)

I am not sure why Viera players should get more racial hairstyles on top of the ones they already have. They will be getting a decent chunk of more widely used hairstyles by the playerbase soon and are likely to continue receiving the latest hairstyle along with everyone else moving forward. I would not mind either of these hairstyles being added for everyone but locking things to a single race/gender generally just sucks.

Yes, because I know what people on the forum are like. I attempted to nip it in the bud in the OG post to make it easier because majoritively, I end up repeating myself to each individual person.

It's not Fran's hairstyle. It's completely different and way shorter than her hair.

You're the type of commenter I attempted to avoid but nevertheless, I'll respond. I'm pro-gender and race lock; this is a Final Fantasy game, not a 'dress-up' game where all races and genders should be mixed into one category and just be the same. Each race has their own style, their own lore and their own characteristics that make them unique. If SE can make more hairstyles for other races as well then that'll be just marvellous. But to be honest; this topic is only a big deal to those who are unaware that fantasia's exist.

Why on earth should I have to spend $10 to change to a new hairstyle or glam? Locking even more things only makes people miss out. Viera already have their unique stuff.

Because if I'm going to remain a Viera with severe limitations on majority of hats and most likely some hairstyles, why shouldn't I get something else to compensate for it? You, a race that can wear everything do not have a right to complain on missing out on a mere 2 hairstyles.

I have a Viera character already will have even more come Endwalker and I have 0 interest in receiving any more "unique" stuff on top of the racial hairstyles we already have. More stuff for more people please. The older races have hair that isn't nearly as high quality as the Viera racial hair and I would like for higher quality hairstyles to be made available for more races and genders as opposed to the stuff that is still coming out of that hairstyle contest.

If you are missing hats and...the FF type-0 hairs? Since those seem to be the ones missing from Viera's new updated selection then just make an alt. They're getting the hairs that people actually use as opposed to 30 hairs that hardly anyone touches. Hats are coming in as well with them being able to wear the Reaper hat in Endwalker, and more on the way if they keep up the trend.

Then you should understand where I'm coming from when I say that my post is about Viera receiving Viera hair that, evidently, the Viera wore in XII and shockingly, no other races were seen with it.

Hyur, Elezens, Lalafells, Miqo'te, Hrothgar and Au'ra receiving Viera hairstyles? No, no, no, no, no and no.

Like I said, more race lock. Races need to be as separate from each other as possible to retain their uniqueness. This whole 'everyone gets access to the same things in XIV' trend is honestly such a hideous idea.

And yet it's precisely this why a lot of people enjoy the way things work around here for the most part? And why a lot of people despise when things that genuinely look good are locked to certain races/genders for no reason? What you see as "unique" is just an unnecessary limitation. Thankfully the game moves in the direction of removing them.
