People not waiting for other people to finish cutscenes....why?

I swear this will be my last post in the thread, considering that posts apparently are still getting deleted en masse and it's annoying to basically repost the same post every so often when someone attacks you, but seriously?

again there was not a single insult, not a single thing that would constitute any kind of rule breaking in any of the posts that got deleted so I'll ask for some transparency: why were the posts deleted? why is a moderator constantly removing pages of discussion, but leaving anti-lgbt and troll threads from KNOWN rmt botters up?

As i said on another thread already, it's not really that messages do have ToS violation that deletes them, just ppl reporting it again and again because they can't stand others opinion that doesn't fit their narrative.
It's a plague on almost every forum in the english-speaking world, they dont care if you bring argument if you're respectful etc they will report you for the sole reason that they dont like what you have to say, and since mods will do anything so things dont escalate they will do it as told, dont bring it on the mod they're just doing what they're told to do.
The more my post get deleted, the more i do know that someone couldn't stand what i had to say and since they dont have real answers to give me they try to hit from the back, which is funny to me and do not bother me at all, you should think the same about it it will ease your forum experience overall.

I highly doubt it's because of reports, because then the TM threads would be deleted just as quickly considering the amount of people that report them
it doesn't bother me that people have different opinions or if they report me, I just can't stand the double standard in moderation, just like I can't stand it in people

I guess it's harder for them to deal with threads more than just messages, because even if we do know that one is trolling as users, you can't simply delete a thread because "we think that he is".
If that was the case you would just need to report every thread from newcomers as saying they're rmt bots and bam it's gone, and some legit ones would be deleted too and that's something they're not willing to do.

This is why screenshot feature are so useful nowadays.

When I was below lvl 50 I did a dungeon (don't remember which honestly it was a couple years ago) for the first time. When I got out of the cutscene before the final boss the boss was already dead and everyone had left the dungeon. The only reason it bothered me is a sense of guilt that I had not been able to do my part in the battle. I might just have an odd way of looking at things though.

I watch all cutscenes that are new to me. I want to see them once. I have the option checked to skip previously viewed cutscenes so I don't hold up a group a 2nd time for something I have already seen. If the group can't wait for me to view it the first time, oh well that is their issue not mine.

I doubt it, it's not that all posts in a certain timeframe just vanish, it's just when people are discussing things, sometimes even leaving the original posts that caused the discussion up, like in this case
it's just weird moderation and some transparency would be nice, but that's probably asking for too much

This is why screenshot feature are so useful nowadays.

I honestly think that most people don't even realize.
I know that sometimes when I tank I pull and then I notice after the fact someone is watching the cutscene.

That's fair. Especially right now, when folks are trying to zip through dungeons to prepare for EW, so, like you said, they probably just didn't notice and got like endgame tunnel vision going on. I think party leaders should just get in the habit of doing ready checks again, it's a great feature and everyone wins.
