    What's weird is there is many games that use 2 authentications with a launcher. Planetside is one of them. You have to log into Steam plus into a launcher. It also runs battle eye as an anti-cheat. I can understand it will make it harder for the company to run other anti-cheat tool as well as IP-based analytics, but it is not impossible. It's more a question of whether Square Enix wants to invest into that or not. With New World available in GFN, it closes the gap between cloud gaming and MMOs

    One of things that may come to play here is hardware ID bans and detection of unknown apps interacting with mouse/keyboard/screen on a low system level (keylogger on steroids). Square Enix knows about ATC usage and so on
