It's fairly short unless you play the DS version. I was going to side LP it myself, with one of the more recent co-op translations on a SNES emulator, but haven't gotten to it either.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I did get the DS version. I read that it was worked on and expanded by the original creators so it's more like what they intended from the start.
The launch is after my Uni exams now so this works better for me lol.
DS version is fun. The battle mechanics have a lot more depth(they let you give temporary party member's skills to later party members and stuff like that. I had a Singing Dragoon!). Might want to get started. It can be a bit challenging in spots, depending on how you play. Has a lot of nice extra story type things going for it, like thought bubbles for your on screen party leader whenever you open the menu. I can't break my nostalgia for the SNES version, so I've only done the DS version a couple of times.

I didn't enjoy RoZ much, i was left more confused what was going on than anythingContinue cataloguing FFXI. Currently sitting at every job at level 61+ with a few at 70. About half way through the first 20 jobs' level 60 AF quests. Will finish that up and catalogue RoZ for sure and more of CoP. Been a real fun replay. Never got this much of the lore firsthand, because leveling was such a pain back in the day. Nowadays it's super easy, so I figure I'll tackle all the old hills. Patch up all the old era things that were once grand monoliths of progress and achievement(Maat's Cap etc.).
Still won't get it all done, but will get much more done than I would have before the delay.
As far as time off goes, looks like I'll be getting it changed. I'd been hounding my boss about getting it approved. I'd put in for it in June. They were slow, and never did, so when I asked to push it back another two weeks, they said it was fine. The original wasn't approved, so submit a new request etc. Never took off work for any of the prior expansions, though during Stormblood launch I was unemployed due to injury (115 pound steel belted tire fell on my wrist).
I did enjoy treasures of aht urhgan, love the story so much
WOTG was good too, just aloot of traveling
I'm probably going to feed my Factorio addiction.
And if I find the time, gearing up jobs and maybe soloing HoH...
Died at floor 82 last time because everything hits like a truck and I did not made proper research, thinking it wouldn't be that different...
Shin Megami Tensei 5.
I didn't schedule a PTO, so I had no troubles there. Most likely I will be busy with Eden Raids, we reformed as a Static and have a few mounts to go after while practicing more as a group.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
Thanks to the recent Elden Ring trailer, I've been downloading DS 1, DS 2, DS 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro again and planned to finish them all before early access.
