What boss of FFXIV did you consider great in gameplay and your least favorite? I was thinking we don't talk about that very often.

While the later stages are pretty straightforward and not really difficult, Alexander prime / Perfect alexander from TEA really got some really nice ideas mecanics wise.
The whole "see the futur" clone thing is really well made and tbh one of the coolest thing this game has ever put.
I dont know about least favorite i've never really think about it, but i do hate this freaking trial on the ishguard bridge.
Perfect Alexander is probably my "favorite".
All of Seiryu EX is my least favorite, boring fight.

The problem ISN'T healers rotation is busted or boring...
e10s is my favorite Savage fight mechanically. My least favorite is e6s.
But thematically I believe e4s is amazing.
I'm not 100% sure what my favorite fight in the game is, but the top two choices for me are either Omega (normal or savage) and Tsukuyomi EX. Suzaku Ex and Seat of Sacrifice EX are pretty great too.
Though it's my least favorite instance in the game, I'm not even going to consider Cuff of the Father a boss fight, it's a glorified trash pull. I guess I'd probably say Steps of Faith. It's just a tedious fight. And I think it was poorly designed when it was fresh (sure it was hard, but the main issue is that there was zero way to reset, so even if you knew a run was lost, you had to wait for the entire rest of the way to the end. I'm glad they experimented with fights during ARR, but Steps of Faith was a failed experiment IMO).
My favourite so far is A11S Cruise Chaser when it's still related.
The worst is of course, Midgardsomr from O10S. The worst fight with worst mechanic.
I'm apparently in a minority because I actually liked Middy Savage for the most part. The only thing I didn't like about it as tank was the randomized mandatory tanking. Mostly because god DAMN, that tail slap was spicy when current. Was rough when you use your mitigation for TB1 only to get stuck with TB2 as well shortly after. Otherwise I actually thought it was a fun fight.
Favourite: SoS EX. Super thematic, great music, fun mechanics. I had a blast farming the fight for my Gwiber.
Least Favourite: E7S. The fight just bored the hell outta me. Portals were easy to solve, Light/Dark Portals were even easier, the teleportation mechanic annoyed me because getting stunned for 2 while it moves my character sucks, and I don't like wall bosses that kinda just sit there. I felt like I had nothing to do as a Tank for most of the fight, unless I felt like sniping my party with a death laser for the memes.
I had a run where me as MT took TB 4 times... It's so funny that I died at 4th TB because no more cooldown to use...I'm apparently in a minority because I actually liked Middy Savage for the most part.
