    targeting objects

I know that there's an option to hold X (by default) to ignore everything else and make easier to click on objects instead of other players, but I did something on the settings and now holding X makes everything vanish (objects and players alike).

What's the option in the menu I'm looking for to revert this situation?

EDIT: or even better, is there an option to prioritize objects over players all the time?

Numpad 0 by default targets the nearest npc or interactable object.

There is a keybind that only and explicitly targets the nearest NPC or object, separate from the Confirm key (default NumPad0) which will sometimes target the nearest NPC or object. I don't remember the default for this key but you should set it to something very close to your resting hand position, along with Target Nearest Enemy, because you will use those two keybinds quite often.

The problem with the Confirm key is that sometimes it will activate the cursor on a UI element rather than targeting something. The Target Nearest NPC or Object key will always work.

Neither options really help if I have to move the cursor over it to CLICK IT and it stills prioritizes players now does it?

You don't have to click anything...Target Nearest NPC or Object, then Confirm.

But if you really want to click things, these filter settings

correspond to the filter key set here

The setting I've commented as "optional" does this:

When you click or rightclick, it will apply to whatever target currently has the filter target dot.

So how do I activate a portal in a dungeon with 20 people on it without clicking it?! Don't know if you're trolling me, but I'm kinda going insane right now ok?!

    Breathe?

Target Nearest NPC or Object key
    Confirm key

will select the nearest object and then activate it. You can also sometimes do

    Confirm key
    Confirm key

which will select the nearest object, probably, most likely, but not 100% definitely, and then activate it.

If you're gaming with a PC, what I do is press 0 (zero) on the numberic pad of my keyboard and it targets the nearest interactive target be it NPC or item on the ground.
