I mean the majority of people I know and interact with in game when we see someone with a feast mount the assumption is that they win traded to get it. And the majority of the time I think we are spot on. Soooo yeah.

Again, the majority are not win traders. Do people read before posting? It's on average a few per data center most seasons.

It's really a shame but the win traders/boosters really ruined it for legitimate feast players. They seem to be adding a LOT more attainable rewards into PVP though than just those things so you'll still have something to strive for even if by some chance you got everything from every season. And unfortunately win-traders/boosters might get reported but nothing happens to them. Remember that guy that someone videoed who hacked his way to the top of a wall and was raining down fireballs on the other team and you couldn't do anything about it?
Yeah, he got his rewards and AFAIK he still plays.
Yeah I was never sure how they weren't ever bannedIt's really a shame but the win traders/boosters really ruined it for legitimate feast players. I made my way to top 100 a few times but never remained there. Would get a decent bit of matches in the day with a few different lalafells who as soon as the match started, they would just /sit beside the spawn and not do anything. I reported all of them multiple times but I'd still see them in my matches a week or two later

Pretty sure the person wallhacking both did not get the rewards (Did not place) and also got banned.
Most common cheating in the last few seasons at least in EU has been some kind of 3rd party program that interrupts melee/ranged limit breaks automatically. Matches are littered with bards that interrupt every LB in 0,001s without a fail![]()

I understand this sentiment and used to defend it.
I had unique and rare no longer accessible armors in gw2, but then after a few years it was made accessible to all, while a small handful of us were against the re-introduction of the armor set (PvP & rank locked exclusive tribal set)
But I (and the others) got over it.
This set will not be handed out for free, and will be gated behind a currency or something once again.
Not to mention, many will not be willing to put up with the PvP nonsense that revolves around PvP. And that's only IF it's reintroduced for another round and I think it's only fair that the newcomers and those who missed out due to RL stuff or what have you- have a chance at obtaining it as well. It's still not a guarantee, just like it was mentioned that Lyse's hair would be introduce only IF there was a larger interest in it- which for some reason, there isn't.
You're special, don't let anyone tell you different!
There really shouldn't be any time limited rewards at all. If people missed out because of real life obligations or what have you just throw the items into the mogstation(talking about holiday stuff). People may hate the fact they couldn't get the items for free but at least they have the path of paying for it at there disposal. As for the rewards for PVP that also needs to be changed. Why not just leave all the sets of PVP gear/mounts in the game for all to try and get whenever they want? I could see PVP blowing up in between patches to give something to do to in between patches and at the end of a expansion. It really boggles my mind that a team of artist work so hard on these beautiful mounts/PVP Sets(Subjective) and then gate keep it to only a handful of players. I never understood that.A bit harsh but I get what you're saying. There's a time and place for limited time rewards, and for the most part they handle them well. Ranked Feast rewards are the exception to that, in my opinion. I've always felt that all the mounts and armor sets rewarded from ranked Feast have largely been wasted on the tiniest fraction of a small subset of the player base.

Put me in the same with: "timed exclusive items are okay to come back around, but titles should not."
Just like people should be allowed to continue to farm Firmament items long after restoration is complete, but the Saint and Beata titles cannot be obtained again.

I think that's more than reasonable.
