By the end of 5.3, the WoL possesses a magic stone with the power to Call heroes from beyond the rift to aid them. There is really no reason we couldn't use it to summon Ryne to our side if we turn out to need her help.

We don't need a lore reason to explain metamechanics. Scenario Mode only lets you choose Trusts who were actually canonically present the first time you ran the dungeon. Avatars Mode lets you pick any Trust you've leveled because Avatars Mode and Trust leveling are not in-universe things. We really need to stop trying to lore explain gameplay features that are obviously just gameplay features.
I wonder if G'raha will still be an all-rounder or if he will just be a mage at this point?
I don't see any reason to reduce his skill set at this point, especially while Thancred is our only other tank.
On the other hand, it would be nice if they could give him access to archer again, but I think having two DPS jobs would confuse the way the trust system works with him automatically taking whatever role is needed in the party.
I likely missed some stuff but he seems to have been demoted to just a black mage since his story transformation. Probably getting all the Scions and some new characters so will have quite a selection. Personally don't bother with trust at all though outside of just seeing who you can bring
G'raha being an all rounder is a story point that is mentioned in side dialogue, so I really doubt he's suddenly gonna forget how to cure or tank.
This is a good point, too, in addition to the fact that Ryne not being canonically present wouldn't actually change how the Trust system works.
Yeah, I'd love it he could get access to archer/bard again, too. They could maybe introduce another version of him to the Trust interface that is an archer? And make picking one mutually exclude the other.I don't see any reason to reduce his skill set at this point, especially while Thancred is our only other tank.

I never bothered leveling or doing the trust system as it seemed to take forever. do we really need to level them all up?So, firstly, if you haven't played Shadowbringers to the end, don't read any further. Please. No spoilers.
Now that that's out of the way.
So Ryne is from the first. She's also part of the Trust. We know that the Trust is carrying over to Endwalker (hence the recommendation we level up our Trust NPC's before then).
We also know that we are getting Estinien as a Trust NPC in Endwalker.
So my question is, will Estinien be replacing Ryne in the Trust?
If not, how will they explain her presence in the Source for dungeons?
This question has been bugging me and the only thing that makes sense is that she won't be able to do any dungeons except Shadowbringers... unless Graha finds a way to bring her to the Source... but why would he? How would they bring Ryne to the Source?
Ryne has no text lines in Matoya's Relictt or Paglth'an or special interactions with anything, so unless something gets done she's probably not officially there and only exists inside of replaying dungeons using trusts.
However, with spoilers for Eden questline included
With Gaia being revealed to actually be an Ascian, but with her deciding to side with us that could potentially open up some options.
With G'raha being given all his alternate version's memories, he would have the knowledge of the magics he used to summon people to the First and could probably work them to bring Ryne over to the Source, and with the help of an Ascian there would definitely be less of tearing peoples souls out.
