Feedback is useful for letting the devs know something that they don't know already.

They already know that the delay is bad and that the late announcement is also bad (though I suppose it's because Yoshida wanted to address it live considering how late the decision was made).

Of course. But we can't really blame people for being upset and want to express it on the forum and reddit/twitter just cause it was such a last minute announcement.

It really is a good thing if 2 weeks delay allow the Devs to make a better product for us. I played another Game on the Side and it has not been playable for 6 months cause the management rushed the release so the earnings count towards their fiscal year. It now loses more and more players cause if you do not own a RTX 3060 or higher, you can not play it. It barely got any optimisation and runs, even on high end cards, not above 50 FPS on Planetary combat zones. At some point players had 4 FPS or lower while trying to play the main feature that came with the latest "Expansion".

It very slowly gets better (Very slowly), but most players are gone now and play other Games in the same Genre.

The man considers not allowing something to be released that's below his own standards "selfish". Rather than letting everyone play he thinks it's selfish to hold it back till it meets his reqs.

Exactly, this. I used that term only because he used it himself on stream but that's what he means. There are some server stability items they want to make sure there's proper QA for so they didn't want to shorten their QA window. And some other things just not quite up to his standard so he says that that part is the "selfish" reason.

I think the worst part about this is that I releases the same day as Destijy 2s 30th anniversary now. Not sure where I'm going to find the time. Lol.

Eh, Destiny has really gone down hill since 2's release. I'd recommend Warframe over that any day of the week.

Totally agree, Rather enjoy Warframe when not playing FFXIV.

Now as to the original topic, like many I am annoyed at the launch delay, and yet, as a former beta tester for FFXIV I am glad they are delaying it as we do not need to see another fiasco like what FFXIV's original launch was, trust me, it was bad.. really bad. If it is not ready, then it is better to fix it now than to wait until after launch. So I will wait.. and probably play some Warframe, Skyrim and some Mutant Football League to kill the time.

Originally the Early Release was the same day as pokemon Diamond/Pearl remakes on Nov 19th
