Disappointed in new release date.

I fully understand that they want to release a pollished game, and I even thank them for that. So the delay doesn't really upset me. What does kind of upset me, is that I already owned the game up to Stormblood, and I recently came back to FFXIV and bought the
Endwalker pre-order which would also contain the Shadowbringers expansion. Now due to the delay, my Shadowbringers expansion is also delayed so by the time I finish playing through Stormblood, I'll be stuck waiting for the full realease of Endwalker before I'll be able to play Shadowbringers to begin with... I didn't want to start leveling alt jobs before I finished the story because of how much has already changed to the jobs I used to play before I took a break. I suppose there is no way to get access to Shadowbringers before the full release of Endwalker?

Bad strawman. This is like blaming someone who takes some days off to go watch their favourite band at a concert and then the concert gets rescheduled last minute and you can't change your days off/plane tickets/hotel reservation.

I can't say for sure, but shouldn't you get a code for the ShB content once payment is complete? This may not be possible due to the excessive use of chargebacks, sadly.

I didn't receive a seperate code for Shadowbringers, only the one to register Endwalker pre-order which also contained the pre-order bonus items. On mogstation it also says that I didn't buy Shadowbringers yet. The confirmation email does say

You will be notified by email before we debit your account, which will normally occur 1-4 weeks before the release date of the item

since I paid with paypal and it may take a while till my account gets charged for the purchase.

I think we all should get a small ingame gimmick as compensation. Nothing big, maybe something like a XP boost scroll, a minion or some glamour (maybe something Christmas related)

It may be worth checking to see if the platform/retailer you bought from would be willing to offer a code for ShB and explain the situation. Can't say it will get you a positive answer, but it can't hurt to ask.

Edit - Depending on when you bought, that Paypal situation may throw a wrench in the works, either way.

The thing is that I bought it from the Square Enix store. I'll try to contact them and explain the situation and hope for the best! Bought the game on October 21 so hopefully they received the payment by now.
