So did i hear correctly? Old "THE FEAST" Top 100 Rewards will become available again?

I see most of you are on board with this but of course you are not in my shoes. Well, i guess we can give everybody everything.

Had i known that those items would become available for basically free, i wouldn't have put so much effort in obtaining them.

I've had items that were supposed to be exclusive become readily available at a later time and I didn't feel as though I lost something. They're just pixels. And yes let's make everything attainable to everyone with no time limits or FOMO, just like everything else in the game. The Feast rewards (barring titles and actual trophies) should be no different honestly.

Having those items for literal years with achievement dates timestamped forever seems like a fair level of prestige to accept other people getting their hands on old shinies.

Considering that feast top 100 consists mostly of wintraders within the first few weeks and the entire season completely dies off aftewards, I don't see why it's so bad

Sounds like it! Very pleased to hear it. It was a stupid and very abused system the top 100 only rewards, glad its gone and they working the rewards back into the game for people who missed it thanks to win trading, one person multiple alts top 100 etc!

I will finally be able to get into pvp with the new game mode too it will be a much more enjoyable experience for people imo. Lording rewards over other people should not be the goal of pvp, being the best should be.

It's a waste really. All those interesting rewards locked behind a mode that only a tiny amount of people will get on a datacenter of tens of thousands, but also a mode that is routinely abused season after season with win trading. It's a good thing they are becoming available after a period of exclusivity.

How come? The new mode makes it so that roles dont matter so queue times are much better cause there wont be a bottleneck of healers for example. Also instead only 100 players getting rewards on each DC now there is no limit in the amount of rewards and no reward permanently goes away so everyone can work towards rewards on their own pace. Seems like all around improvement for the whole player base

PVP is good. I get matches all the time, for the most part.

It actually is more fun than 99% of other content. It's not for everyone though.

That would be really, really sad to say the least. Not only will it completely delete any Value those items have, but it also disrespects all the time and Work people put in to get those rewards. (At least the first 4 Seasons).

I myself learned to play a Healer and played countless matches often paired with frustration to get the Season1/2 rewards. Now everybody who plays Frontlines will run Around with Season 1/2 crown and the iconic Coat?

One can just hope that there is a missunderstanding.

I played PvP in every MMO i touched, not just because of rewards but because i enjoyed it. In FF though i specifically took more time to learn how to play Healer so i have a chance to get those rewards, i guess it is only a matter of time till 1.0 Items are given away too since we now go the route to eliminate anything Special.

Edit2: I just remembered that Yoshi P once said that they will not bring back old Seasonal Feast rewards, so the Feast items mentioned will in deed be the ones that were available all along with Wolf collars. Thread can be closed.

Thats not the change i read. Not to mention the source is from years ago.

What you can blame is a terrible reward structure and a competitive mindset that nothing has to do with the community and design of this game, like at all.
