Information on 1.21 Next week?

Anyone still think current delay has no impact for future patches? I remember when some people said a few months ago how 1.21 will be late because of the delay of 1.20, other people defended SE to death saying 1.21 will come out right on schedule.

Guess what? 1.21 is supposed to come out early Feb and it turns out to be early March.

If anyone still think 1.22 will come out right on schedule which is supposed to be mid April, they need to get their head examined.

Interesting though I would have to say it was never stated by SE nor Yoshi that 1.21 was delayed because 1.20... If there is a post with such a saying in it I would love for one of you humans to link it because I just don't see it. Could 1.20 have delayed 1.21 eh not likely it was more like they took on so much for one patch it pushed things out beyond what they thought. Will the delay of 1.21 cause 1.22 to be delayed eh maybe but probably not and if 1.22 is delayed its probably due to what is going into 1.22 and what was pushed out of 1.21... though until they actually come out and go "hey guys 1.21 delay is now going to cause 1.22 to be delayed" then I will stick with the delay of one patch really doesn't affect the next patch so much. Also I do work in programming systems and I do put out patches and I have yet to have 1 delayed patch cause another patch to be delayed since they can be worked on pretty much at the same time.

But you humans love to be impatient and whine about any minor thing that happens... so I guess I will just go out with this...

This letter and the patch notes and such will never come out until this topic hit 1K posts in it... so almost there...

Oh I've no doubt you're right sir. I was alluding to the fact that this forum isn't exactly a bastion of perspective or common sense. So while I applaud you advising others to use them, I hope you don't place too much hope in that.

I can't see any of the remaining patches being on time, personally.
