I told the HR guy I'd never work it again unless I could wear chainmail and carry an axe. He thought I was joking, until the following day, he found me in the break room working on my chainmail. As in, real stainless steel rings, woven dense enough to stop a 9mm bullet. And yes, that was tested (I had a friend in the Navy, he hung it on a tree and shot it; broke a single ring and didn't even scratch the tree). Never had to work opening on Black Friday again.

I am actually curious about that because it sounds a bit unbelievable to me.
I am not sure from reading this if he actually hung it on a tree or like tied it unto the tree itself.
If he hung it from the tree then maybe but if it had a hard surface it was strapped to then that sounds pretty crazy to me.

Then again maybe with modern steel woven to some insane density.

Anyway I'm just glad they're doing it at all this year. It super sucks because it's my favorite holiday and generally my favorite event besides the summer one (which has also felt pretty meh the last few years) but. Eh. I mean I can hope we'll get something neat at least. Maybe.

All I gotta say is "unacceptable" is the most "Karen" word in the history of words, especially when used at the end of sentences or as a singular exclamation.

It is the reason I hate the main character girl in Bravely Default. Every time she exclaims it I want to quit the game.

Because releasing Cruise Chaser as a mount makes more money.

Very important, because that money goes to FF14's development, while the game's subs and expansion sales flow to SE's main wallet which will invest in other non-FF14 games.


So yeah, belittle the cash shop all you want, but it is better for FF14 to generate its own budget instead of waiting of waiting for SE's grace.

The rerun was already completed and didn't add anything to the game. (no new assets, dialogue, characters, etc)

If the all saints wake quest was ready they would have released it.

Lets not pretend that SE designs these things at the last minute. They are notorious for scheduling and sticking to them no matter what.
