You're not wrong-I believe the game needs to be much more strict about iLVL, but I also think it's not the player's fault if they can meet the requirements. Especially for a total newbie who wouldn't know any better. This is a fault of the game/game design. There is big difference between criticism and insults.
Min ilvl requirements mean nothing. You can enter Savage Raids with any ilvl when joining it via PF.
Someone with high ilvl accessoirs but a low level weapon can actually join the group, when the total ilvl is high enough.
But that person wont perform not as good as people with higher weapons and left side gear. It also makes a difference, when someone brings food and materias to a fight.

I though we can set min il in PF
some raid/trial need min il for DF though and also job soul crystal
So when I pull during cutscene everyone who singles me out is bannable. Interesting
I think there is a misunderstanding:
The "Minimum iLVL" setting in party finder is so the party leader can make the gear sync down, in essence making the raid/instance/whatever "harder".
I'm talking about random PuGs via duty finder.
My meaning was that: if you got stuck with 23 party members in Labyrinth of the Ancients, each with iLVL 50 gear (the required iLVL), then they are doing what the game is asking them to do. So, they're not doing anything wrong despite the inevitable terrible time you are about to have in your ilvl 130 Augmented Ironworks gear.

I agree that the game design is at fault here. There is no reason to allow someone without job stone into duty finder past duties accessible after getting your jobstone. Similarly I wish the game would not count HQ and vendor gear as the same ilvl.
