I'm well aware of Western societies views. I just don't care. FFXIV is not western or even modern society. Also robes and gowns were considered a very masculine thing for a while as well as high heels. I'm not trying to change a mass perception. I've also already stated that I'm very in favor of more options. But they are boring when you have almost no other options, and some people don't like the look of robes period. I don't like the robes and skirts on the tank sets either, but I at least have an equal number of other options that still fit the tank role.
You are also being disingenuous, as you are well aware that in Western society long robes and dresses and skirts are considered feminine. Hell, the thread was started because of a comment from a Japanese player, so it is not just in the West. You can argue all you like about how mean old gender norms should be abolished, but you can't change the mass perception.
So the only part about that outfit that looks feminine to me is the open chest hole. However I know people who like that sort of thing on guys. I'm all in favor of more options as I've stated earlier. I'm just a bit peeved at people saying that robes = feminine instead of posting examples like you have. Thank you for that btw.
Depends how you look at it. Focus on certain aspects sure it can look feminine. However if I said to me it gave a Greek god vibe then suddenly you see it in a different way, and actually with the right pieces accompanying it, it can look great on a male. In the end it's all about perception.

Enjoy Life you only get one.

I actually saw a Roegadyn wearing this the other day combined with a face-covering helm (maybe the Swangrace one), and he looked really cool. I wouldn't have expected it to work so well.Depends how you look at it. Focus on certain aspects sure it can look feminine.
