1) It's actually incredibly disruptive for discussion when the second post in any thread is an "unofficial moderator" stating: "Did you know, if you wanted to provide feedback for the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy Fourteen, you should make all your posts in our designated critically acclaimed thread." Why even create threads then? If there were actual moderators in the forums, this is the sort of thing that they very would quickly put a stop to. You're actively scuppering any attempts to have a meaningful discussion. Please stop.

2) The dev team should always be looking for feedback. You don't ignore feedback because it isn't formatted the way you want. You could start a twitter conversation about the game and they should still read it if it gets traction and responses.

3) People generally only react to the first and last page of a thread. I'm guilty of this as well, but it takes a lot of motivation for the average player to go back and wade through 500 pages of missed conversation when most of it is banter. I think it's fine to have a megathread to have a general conversation without a focused topic, but most of the changes that I've seen that have come from forum suggestions are from relatively focused threads with a central OP that everyone is responding to. The onslaught/NF threads for WAR didn't go in a 'WAR megathread'. Those were short, focused, but upvoted discussion threads.
