when you haven't done any expert dungeons because you've been busy levelling jobs and almost every single expert you did took more than 20 and usually around 25 minutes because your partymembers barely did the, well, bare minimum, but you decide to do one because you're bored

I'm sure I'll get disagreed with on this, the guy who pulled didn't back me up but I'll put this here anyway because I feel like this "great community" don't pull garbage is going too far. Even after CT was made mandatory for the MSQ people still ran the raids normally (fast) and didn't wait for the inconsequential boss cutscene. This seems like a new development that's bled over from the Nier raids, which actually have a practical reason to wait to start the fight.

Pulling or waiting isn't a big deal either way, I think what bothers me the most about it is that some people decided that now everything has to be waited for, even ancient content, and they're going to police everyone's behavior over it. CT's status as the garbage raid for the fastest Alliance Roulette is kind of being ruined by these busybodies tbh.

I don't think I've ever seen people do this over Syrcus before.

If the cutscenes are short, wouldn't hurt to wait for them. And just like what SturmChurro said, I've never seen this happen over CT raids.
Also, can we please stop the GCBTW and white-knighting memes? Nothing wrong with wanting a new player to have a good experience. What to me qualifies as white-knighting is when people jump in to defend someone who is actually in the wrong.

As far as I saw, no.

I've been running a lot of Syrcus because this is what I get for not doing BLU content and it's not every run that I see people calling out not to pull, but it's close to half. I've been mixing in some Amaurots for my sanity but I probably should have just leveled BLU - I'll have it leveled next time there's a moogle event for sure.

It's weird to see people complain about pulling quickly in Crystal Tower raids, especially if it's something like Xande. What will they miss? We outgear everything so much there's barely anything worth noting. It's not like the big mechanics will go out before they can load in. The only thing I'd want to wait for is if both healers in an alliance are in CS (mainly if their tank is MTing).

I'm a huge proponent of waiting for cutscene-viewers but there's honestly no point in making any sort of fuss for these. Now, next expac when stats get squished, there might be stuff to wait for. (Before anyone accuses me of making stuff up, this was addressed in woops's interview with YoshiP.)

By the way, I've also noticed the more-than-usual lack of interrupts being used by tanks. I've seen chimeras, the mini xande in WoD, and those fuath tethers all get ignored while I cry because I'm leveling a melee job and have no way to prevent the disaster I'm about to see unfold.
