No one is going to take you seriously whatsoever in any sort of argument if you do that. In fact, any point you're trying to make right now has been thrown out because you made such a ridiculous comparison. If you have the expectation that people want to communicate with you or not prioritise exp in exp roulettes that is a you problem not a rush mentality.

Now if your doing your best and your pulling as much as you think your party can handle and someone isn't happy with that, that's there problem.

Also there is a difference between backseat gaming and advice or suggestions and because tank is the most visible role you'll get back seat gamed more than any other role. My advice is ignore it and if they want to pull and do your job it's only fair you let them tank to.

I can't speak for everyone else, but the reason I didn't take your "topic" seriously from the start is because it's yet another person whinging about other players going too fast and not letting the tank pull, in a long line of similar topics. Seriously, this horse has been beaten to death so many times even the Ascians don't want to touch it. You don't even have to go to the next page to find several other threads just like this one that are still being actively posted in.

You want my opinion? Nut up, put on your big boy britches and pull like Satan himself is on your heels. Or shut up and find like-minded players that want to take the scenic route, or run with NPCs.

So essentially you're gonna let someone else tank because why? Not taking aggro - means not doing your job. Taking aggro takes 1-2 buttons. If you don't want people to do your job, you should probably try and be faster. Also people could pull something accidentally too.

The reason why I didn't take your argument seriously from the start was the fact the tone came across as entitled. Like you're entitled to other people having to respond to your greeting or getting upset if someone just so happens to pull before you. Now, I'm never going to agree with you at all since I've already stated my points before and you can find like minded people like yourself in game who can play together with you at a pace you enjoy and have the interactions you desire. Expecting the same from random people who just want to get their roulette/farming out of the way isn't going to get you anywhere fast. That and this topic is particular is annoying to see come up constantly. Forgive me if my patience is a little bit thin since I am tired of going over the same points for the past month in different threads in and outside of the forum and people still not understanding that it is better to find like minded people or adapt to the majority in a group setting (with obvious exceptions like handicaps).

So if you're going to even hope of trying to communicate your point better, try not to compare apples and oranges, because quite frankly it devolves into people just thinking that you're just trolling. And besides, I won't dismiss an opposing point outright because I disagree with it until it verges on the point of ridiculous.

Not really what I meant, I said it poorly.

I'm not gonna go afk at the wheel and if someone accidentally pulls I have no issue dealing with mistakes. It's more the run in front and pull everything healer or dps because they want to go faster. If the AoE misses and I have to stop to save them every pack at a certain point I'm not gonna care and deal with it at the end of the pull or they can just come to me. As for being fast, I go as fast as I can if it's too slow for some people it doesn't give em pass on playing badly as well.

They can and I at first will ask them to stop. But if they go out of they're way to do it I will let them.
