Will the upcoming expansion fix the hairstyles for the Viera?

I haven't watched the video but are you getting this statement from there or from the tweet? That's just saying (as seen in the screenshot) that male hairstyles have been added for the male Viera. You can see the selection and they haven't been added onto the female list. Just the standard selection and one extra from the universal list.

Yoshida doesn't mention anything like this during Meoni's interview either. At least I don't remember hearing anything like this yesterday when I watched it.

The live letter from an age ago showed viera with one of the unlockable hair styles. From what Yoshi P has said the viera can look forward to more hairstyles but the horthgar is another matter.

It looks more like a 6.1+ for adding additional hairstyles going by the video interview.

In one of the NIN pics the Viera has a new hairstyle so I think it's pretty much confirmed that they're getting some more in Endwalker.

I'm very pleased and excited about this. It's my hope that all of the unlockable hairstyles will be available for male and female viera, since Yoshi-p said viera would get more hairstyles and hrothgar would get more on 6.1, 6.2 and onwards. So it seems they'll do it for viera in time for launch and hrothgars will be a work in progress. But this makes me very happy. I thought hrothgars would only be able to change their hair in 7.0 along with female hrothgar but it being in 6.1 surprised me!

Do you think that the hairstyles will come out in the expansion? Do I need to buy the expansion to get the hairstyles?

From whats been mentioned by those that got to play around on the test server during media tour there is a new hairstyle for both m/f veria that wasnt on the benchmark. Sooo theres at least 1...

Meoni asked about Viera and Hroth headgear/hairstyles. Yoshi P answers that they've "changed the specifications for Viera" and that we "will see more hairstyles for Viera" He doesn't specify whether that applies retroactively to existing unlockable hairstyles or just to new endwalker styles and others going forward.

Im gonna have a hard time sifting through thousands of posts, but it was said that both Hrothgar and Viera would be getting Unique Hairstyles.
