In the long run that won't do anything. There's far too many players with far too much gil, an "average price" won't speed up nor slow down selling, you can't force people to sell for a certain price.

I think he means 'speed up' as in "Make it easier and a less time-consuming operation"



Yea as Skies said, I meant speed up the process of listing items.
Instead of having to write a list of items i want to sell, run to the search interface and look for every item, all I would need to do is select the item > transaction and see what its worth.
It would lower price undercutting to some extent also, as of right now players can compare both the price history and going value from the search menu.
Sure you could still do this if the price history was moved to the retainer side but it would be a lot more time consuming so players would more like just use the price history or average.
Chances are someone would want the money the retainer was holding.#1 the retainers are supposed to leave the wards to open up space for other retainers to take their place.
Plus if you are like me you are always restocking, adding and subtracting items that your retainer holds, they are more than just sell bots.
