Does anyone know for sure if running with Trusts for Amarout drops the tomes or will it be DF only? We'll find out in a week but I'm curious.

I know Trusts at least drop the regular Tomestones (Allegory and Revelation), so it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that they would also give the Irregulars.

I don't know if it does or does, I suspect it doesn't and was just being snarky about how long MSQ dungeons are. But even then, if the players all realize how much more efficient Amarout will be, queue times should be low to get into there, or worst case, just throw up a party finder to farm it a few runs.

Is Amaurot really more efficient than the other level cap dungeons? I'd rather run something that drops glamour.I don't know if it does or does, I suspect it doesn't and was just being snarky about how long MSQ dungeons are. Amarout gives 5 moogle tomes, no other level 80 dungeon is included, so yes. It would be more efficient.
If you want a dungeon that has gear, it's pretty limited and the dungeon also gives fewer tomes. Baelsar's Wall, Ala Mhigo, and Ghymlit Dark are the only dungeons that have gear, and those give 4 tomes instead of 5.

Exactly, but if they only take 80% of the time it takes to run Amaurot then you've broken even on time and you're getting glamour besides.
Amaurot seems like a lot more of a slog than some of the others. Ghimlyt in particular seems quite fast for gathering large groups of enemies, and the glamour is fairly sought after for that.
Plus you'd get tokens for your relic weapon because it's a level 70 dungeon, which probably makes up for getting one less tome out of it even if it wasn't quicker.
