Though I wouldn't have thought there was much issue with people running them as the roulette should keep them filled pretty well. Rather surprised more of the 24 mans where not included.

Crystal Tower certainly doesn't have an issue with people running it. With people intentionally lowering their itemlevel and people literally being forced to do it for the MSQ it is by far the Alliance raid that pops up the most when you queue for the roulette.

But for some reason SE keeps pushing us back in there anyway, be it through the current relic quest or the moogle event and it is also by far the most boring alliance raid series.

Is there a level requirement for Ostensibly Special Timeworn Map or..? And what makes it so ostensibly special?

Is it the same on the JP servers? I mean, the whole, Crystal Tower spam thing even prior to the current relic iteration/stuff like this.

I kind of wonder sometimes if they focus on solving issues for the JP playerbase more than ours. Just thinking maybe JPs didn't run Crystal Tower very much and stuck to the higher 24 mans? I literally don't know though, never looked into it.

It should be the same as the current Zourskin maps so you don't need to level 80 so long as you have access to the level 80 zones and some level 80 people to run them with. They will keep so you could get them and then run them later. The some of mats from the Stormblood maps did get quite valuable after the Shadowbingers came out

I have to wonder - do Trust runs of Amaurot count, or is it only DF?

Because I'd been debating about farming it after I get the rest of my gaggle of idiots to 80, since I want the shoebill and don't want to buy it. This'd just be an excuse to get around to that faster.

Thank you for the reply Jameseoakes If they are the same as other maps I won’t bother, my partner and I get a few portals whenever we do a treasure hunt night. I was curious if there was something fundamentally different from the other maps, and as we’re ony level 63 atm it would take up space I’d rather fill with earlier maps. So that’s very helpful to know!

Im confused as to why they chose crystal tower raids and not the Ivalice or HW alliance raids. We all know which raid will be spammed for this event especially considering you can get relic items from it as well.

I'm on a JP server and estimate I get one of the CT raids 75-85% of the time when running the roulette. I don't know if people are intentionally spamming it, or why they would, but it pops up so much that I'm sick of it. It looks like I'll be spamming certain things to get those mounts. 300+ tomestones should be doable...I hope.
