Ha, someone beat me to it. Also just finished up Amaurot with my Trusts and got the tomes.

This'll be a good way to multitask when Voice of Cards releases next week. Just double pull and let them kill things while I play on my Switch.

I feel given the /insane/ rate that blue mage can earn the tokens that they should make the buffed rate of the previous event the default for all, applicable, DF content. Then PF, trusts, or whatever, like honestly just whatever lol, is this current rate. Maybe add previous events at 1.5x - 2x cost (not all at once just like "this event" + 1 other from the past, and have them go through a big cycle).

Its kinda ironic that they gave us the jacket because the community team managed to clear a blue mage challenge (pretty sure we would've got it anyway as the jacket was already done and they would've not tossed the files because the community team flopped ... but could you imagine)

And it comes back to blue mage being the goal to achieve mental rates of tomes per hour, we managed to get 101 tomes in 40min with FC last night ... some of them were missing spells so its not like you need BIS and all spells either.

It is now more efficient to unlock and level blue mage to 50 and get the basic spells then just doing the other stuff. To put it into perspective if your one of the folks who spam prae, you would get 10 times more tomes then if you did T2.

This event will however have a backlash at us i believe, similar to what happened back in Byakko ex in which a phase was more or less negated in a unintended way. SE is not going to remove any of the tomes/access for bluemages but they will very likely keep an eye on how blue mages can weasel through content for tomes.

And yes we did before but it was never THIS effective. So what do we take from this? Level blue get about 1200 tickets turn them into MGP and buy most of the mounts, unless you win cactpot you will never get them this easy again.

Side note, if your a purist who despises the act of this, at least don't run prae its consistently one of the worst ways to get tomes. I enjoy the Rival wings pvp, even though I'm shite at it pops really fast as well during mog tomes.

Wow, I do not normally use PF and usually with BLU it tends to be awful to organize but ended up racking a decent amount of tomes in T2. Probably because the spells required are simple to get.
But never had issues with any PFs too, all smooth!

I am glad I worked a bit with Blu, finally paying off

Just a thought, add bonus moogle tomestones to the roulette(s) first time bonus. Helping those casual players grind, valuing the DF a bit more for everyone, but leaving blue mage like concepts alone in the end for those who just want to grind it out 'right now'.

So I've never touched blu before today, but I spent a day and racked up like, 51 spells and ended by going into T2 for two hours. Got 200+ tomes. Haven't got everything I want so I'll probs spend another day or two farming and whatever's left over I can spend on MGP to get MGP mounts that I don't have.
