My futile wish is for less alt-hostility.
* Let me send mail and share storage.
* Let me add my alts to my house as roommates.
* There's no excuse for any single character glam, minion, emote, or mount on the Mogstation.
* Enough of the seasonal event FOMO. If I've done it on an alt let me buy the items from the Calamity Salvager.
The only people you're punishing are legit players. Botters and RMT traffickers just use a different stolen account as their mules.

More skimpy outfits, I like dressing up my toon (Before you throw a hissy fit, I mean for BOTH genders).
I still really want them to add Yotsuyu's dress and hairstyle. Been asking for it for years but hoping we'll eventually get them. Also hoping we'll get more hairstyles in general compared to the past couple expansions.

Biggest wish:
A true fix for housing, meaning that every single character can have a house. Period. Every. Single. Character. If I have four characters, I should be able to own four houses, without taking a house from some other player. Seriously, just implement instanced housing. That is all.

They've said before that Yotsuyu's dress wasn't designed with player animations in mind, so they'd have to redesign it from scratch before they could give it to us. So they know there's a demand for it, at least.

Let's be honest here, the only thing terribly difficult about POTD is the time it takes to get to where it actually is hard. You could trim all the floors up to about 150 and it still would have another 10-20 of not-so-difficult floors. It is taking the time to just grind yourself all the way up to where it gets somewhat hard and RNG spits on you. If you took away all that extra time required there would be vastly more people with the title. The difficulty here is just time-investment related. I see it no different than an Ultimate except it just takes far more time.Uh, have you ever tried to solo a deep dungeon beyond just doing the first 10 or 20 floors and then getting bored? Because I'm pretty sure you haven't
Ultimates are only hard because you have to know how to split up and resolve certain mechanics in a certain way, otherwise everyone blows up, and once you get that down it's the exact same fight over and over minus the mistakes people make, hence why soloing deep dungeons is difficult but unscripted as each run is subject to RNG but you can still consistently clear it as long as you play your cards right.
It's mostly about knowing how to approach the floors in a way that maximizes your chance of success instead of just throwing yourself at the same mechanic 8 minutes into the fight until the dragoon who's holding the group back from progging starts to consistently remember their spot after resolving y mechanic so they can stop blowing up the group and start to prog on mechanic Z
Anyways, my point is that deep dungeons are the closest thing we have right now to something that isn't scripted but is still very difficult, in terms of raids the only way you can make it more difficult is by adding mechanics that make everyone blow up if someone forgets to stand on marker 1, then you just have to restart from the beginning.

Eh, not exactly, sure the floor bosses are basically mini raids but the other 9 floors are unscripted and random, and instead of just killing some big bad boss your goal is to get to the next floor while trying not to aggro too many mobs or the wrong ones
Sure PoTD is a time sink, but it's still difficult content to solo that doesn't follow strict timelines or force you to use markers and assign spots, and there isn't another person there to blow up the group and wipe you because they don't learn as fast as you do.
