    Greetings fellow Eorzean!

    Please try the following suggestions:

    1) Perform the most recent system update and then try a version update for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.

    PlayStation®5: The update can be performed from the home menu by selecting
    [Settings] → [System] → [System Software] → [System Software Update]

    2) If the installed data has been corrupted, the issue may be resolved by re-installing the game.

    3) Reinitialize the console to factory defaults under Settings > System > System Software > Reset Options > Reset Your Console > Reset

    Should the issue persist, it may be related to the backwards compatibility feature of Playstation 4 to Playstation 5 or a display setting within the console itself. We advise contacting Sony Support for further assistance.

    So none of these options worked. Thank you for the reply, but it looks like I'll have to contact both Sony and SE support later.

    Not to resurrect a dead thread but did you ever find a solution? I upgraded to a ps5 just a few days ahead of EW and am having this same problem.
