Considering that you have not even touched WHM, let alone have an 80 - perhaps you should try playing the jobs a bit more and get a better feel before making baseless suggestions or ideas that don't fit within the scope of the game. Just saying so you aren't completely discredited on the forums more than you have been in multiple threads.

That actually explains a lot. I felt like their ideas were interesting, don't get me wrong, but they seemed to focus more on the job being more "engaging and flashy" than anything else. OP shows this especially with their thread on Bards being nerfed all the time.

It is kinda true they do get nerfed all the time at least every expansion. with nothing really exciting or thrilling part of there kit. without anything "engaging or flashy" job comes dull quick. every class including tanks have something like this by no means is it overpowered. but it feels engaging and fun to player moral of the story is people like pretty things. like quite few jobs currently in game class doesn't become really engaging until level60 + rest of the time down right snore fest with no real reason level past 30. watch makes you fall sleep. sense your rotation isn't really impressive at all. cant say bard actually fun at this stage. not to mention bow glamour's are ugly. bard fashion ugly at latterly at 50 you Armor is a clowns outfit with rainbow spandex pants. only great thing about bard is preformancing and rick rolling people. lets stop talking about bard. this is tanking thread.

now bout healing how it effects "tanking" currently tanking meta being shifted cause millions of tank player who like wall to wall people. squire-enix sees that people want see people get dungeons done in 3:12-5:20 and notices that. some instances that if tank pulls everything in the dungeon from start to finish no stop there are chances that tank will die if they do this. so squire-enix decided to buff every healer in the game with defensive targetable cooldown. deal with bad tanks don't like using defensive cooldowns + holy at 1.50 cast time deals more damage and rewards lilies non stop every time you cast. this basically means no matter how much you deside to pull as a tank. you won't die. healer now have something rub in your face for being bad. like paladin has clemency just joking

Just...stop. Please. This is nonsense. If you're not even going to step up and play the job to critique it properly, then perhaps you should take your crap elsewhere.

'Engagement' or 'flashiness' isn't everything. At Lv 30-60 you don't even have your full kit either, so of course you aren't going to feel the exact way the job plays. They do that because every couple of levels or so you get an extra button that does something unique or a trait that augments a part of your kit to make it more understandable as they play. Also, FYI, Glamour is Endgame 100%.

If you really want to talk about the correlation between healing and tanking, perhaps you should start with learning how things work in harder content. Dungeons give you an idea, but Extreme and Savage give you a far stronger representation. The reason people go wall to wall is because they want to be done with the dungeon quickly, and they tend to ask if the healer is fine with it(80% of the time...). And yes, there is a chance the tank will die - a chance just about everyone's willing to take if they truly know what they're doing for the instance. Also, bad tanks =/= buff healers. That's not how they balance things. Your assumption that Holy will grant lilies is not true either, mostly because it's not the 13th yet. Just sit down and wait for it.

I'm also sure you haven't thought about the inverse either, where you can run into bad healers. It then goes on the tank to adjust for the healer, as it is with groups. I've run into many SCHs who forget that their fairy exists, but I'm able to cover them through my utilities as a Tank - even as GNB or DRK. So, if you're going to continue this line of ridiculous thought, perhaps you should play the game a bit more and stop baseless speculation.

Actually, the official live letter translation given out stated Holy 2 gives Lillies. One of the absolute FEW things Victoria is right about. All else is speculation.

White Mage is a healer role, not a tank role; this thread is posted under the wrong area.

Also, any speculation on future job changes should be backed by an official source approved by Square Enix if said changes are additionally being presented as fact; otherwise, it could be seen as intentionally misleading. Unauthorized leaks may also be against terms of service, but I have faith in the forum moderators for addressing those potential rule violations.
