I find it annoying as hell that I have to log in three times to buy something from the Mog Station.

Yea or just press the refresh items sent from mog station button they implemented to prevent the relog issue.

Sorry I am confused. What refresh? I check moogle and click all the buttons. It never shows up. But as soon as I logout and log back in the moogle has it. The routine that works for me is buy, login no mail,logout, log backin and poof mail.

There is a button on the mail interface in-game that says something about "rewards" in the tool tips. Rather than log out and log back in, press that button. If it doesn't work immediately, give it a few minutes and press it again. That's what they're referring to.

Only time it's never worked immediately for me was on an account-wide item (mount). That can sometimes take a day to arrive after the first character on the account gets the item.
