OP; the design of the bows themselves are made with a left-hand grip in mind. Just like in Kendo where the practitioner is expected to use a left-hand grip even if they're left-handed, it's the same in Kyudo; you always hold the bow in the left hand. Given the designers take their inspiration from Japanese martial arts, I can't see them ever making a left-handed animation or bow.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! While I did kendo for a little while before moving to a place that didn't have a club, the "action manga" stances do get to me. I did grab a book on kenjutsu and tooled around with that for a little bit, but I can't remember if the stances in the game are close to Killy-Killy vs. Let's Score Points. I have done archery for a long time and had the pleasure of watching Kyudo while living in Japan and I've got to say the Elezen bow animations are pretty good from that point of view. I definitely appreciate that!

I didn't want them to animate you holding the bow in the right hand. Was just wondering if there were any bows with the arrow on the right side of the bow instead of the left since according to that guys archery video, it fires just fine.
