While I do agree that Yoshi is sometimes judged to harshly by some (And defended too vigorously by others)
I have to ask though... what happens if you try that on other forums? Are you beaten? It definitely sounds like you're implying that you can be beaten for that type of behavior....

No actually you are ignored. Completely. The fact he is taking the time to acknowledge it should be enough. The tone has changed from what was originally people asking for a better game, to people who felt that this man owes them something. They are typing him letters like they are sending him inter office messaging and know him personally.

You get people saying things like "Hey Yoshi, its Monday man, wheres my letter? Dude you said I would have it by now" The fact of the matter is his main priority is not to NA. So please don't pretend he reads our forums. He gets bits and pieces or summaries from our community rep.

yes he should get a twitter for sure. I think this will be a more personal communication to the players too.
