It's going to be weird how much basic know-how players from Stormblood and earlier will take for granted will be largely unknown to those who started only after all the kit-gutting and difficulty decreases to mainstay content.

Regarding DoTs, if it helps, you can also hide all debuffs on a target that come from other players so that the only ones you see are your own. You can still see all the debuffs on the enemy when using focus target, but on your current target's healthbar, it helps keep things clearer.
I love how people missing the other buff the movement skill does
It increase players movement speed AND gives them damage reduction, this is huge also the fairy AI got changed abit (was said so today in the LL that was released today) so technically scholar can just dump this onto the tank, to reduce the tank damage taken consently, so u would "ignore" the speed boost and most likely be using it for the "damage reduction" buff
So scholar may got more QoL changes to make it function better since the pet is the main problem of the job role,
The only actual use for the dmg reduction of Peloton 2.0 is to reduce incoming raid dmg at best. Tanks are beefy enough already and they even get now additional benefits for popping their cooldowns correctly.I love how people missing the other buff the movement skill does

And what makes it worse, is the fact that the Movement speed doesnt stack with sprint, a ability that has only 30sec CD and highly doubt that Peloton 2.0 will have more than 15sec duration because of this, and the cooldown for it? Either 60 or 120 seconds most likely.
So at the end of the day, it wont make any large differences since any incoming Raid damage is better off being reduced by providing Succor which is is often more than enough.

1) Sprint is 60s CD, 10s duration in combat.
2) Succor sucks (no pun intended) as aoe mitigation. It's less than 5% of max HP at max lvl, you're better off using Sacred Soil, Whispering dawn, Indom, + a Fey Blessing to recover from whatever aoe hit you. Or Adlo + Deployment Tactics before hand.
But yeah, I think the movement buff will be pointless in general.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

And mentioning this is kind of funny, as during the job action showcase the SCH player did recit>adlo>deploy instead of recit>indom like you're supposed to do. Showing that they, in fact, don't know how to play their own healers, or at least have a low understanding of SCH.Few things wrong with this.

They also show AoE abilities on single targets. And mentioning this is kind of funny, as during the job action showcase the SCH player did recit>adlo>deploy instead of recit>indom like you're supposed to do. They don't show the melees doing positionals.
They show reaper staying away from the mob for a long time and use its ranged attack instead of going back to melee as soon as possible.
The job action trailer is meant to show some job actions, it's not meant to show you how to play your job.
Your conclusion could be right, maybe they don't understand SCH, but the way you got to this conclusion is certainly not right.
Yeah, I took that to be them showing off that they fixed deployment adlo so you don't need to wait a second for the shield to actually apply now.

weused to be gods xD, i miss my dots
