Omg yes! I would also be really happy with a mostly bald option with a long braid from the back of the head, it would look pretty cool with headdresses and stuff like that. Anything to make it more amazon, or fierce. Gold ornaments or added feathers would look cool as well like they did with some of the male Viera hairstyles in the benchmark. I love fierce looking female characters and I always stop in game to admire femroes when I see them looking really cool!

Only one face of Hrothgar really fits the "lion" design (for now. If hair limitation is removed, then it can be anyone). Every other face is different. There's the one I use, there's a coeurl-like face and of course, the Ronso face (the only one that gets the horn).

I'm guessing the female hrothgar will get the same variations of faces that the males do; a lion, the coerul, tiger, and the Ronso face but made to be more feminine and have more "gentle" features. I just hope that they will get rid of the hair-face limitations and add more variation of racial hairstyles for both genders to mix-match faces and hairstyles and add scar options too since that'll be really cool. Anything to add to a more rugged/fierce appearance and not have the stupid fantasia thing whenever someone wants to switch to a different hairstyle.

I was actually very happy and Impressed with the face diversity, and the creative Courel face. But, I was really upset that only the 4th; Khimari-like face was the ONLY one that could get the Unicorn horn. In retrospect....I guess it doesnt matter cause these arnt full-blown Ronso, and Im not using the Horn. But Im still a lil upset and disappointed that one 1 face option gets the ability to have the horn.

YES, I am abit jealous and love the braids on the Male Veria. Id love something like that for the Hrothgar; Males AND Females.

Well they will be by design. But yeah we can only hope they can find a way to alleviate the limits & restrictions.
Since it is abit of a High Fantasy game, I expect hair options, b ut Im just worried about the designs and variety....including a Bald Option.

I'm talking about art in a book that features finalized art for every Dng&Raid boss, every enemy NPC, every important NPC and even field/ trash mobs. If this is what's in the book for this character, it's what they intended said character to look like.

Why this character isn't a Hrothgal NPC when a worldwide pandemic screwed up production of this MMO, causing them to cut corners/ cut tons of content/ combine seasonal events to save time and prema-push back the timetable for this game? The world may never know ... but this is what this character was intended to look like as that's what they do for NPCs in these books, which is why we're even talking about it. Book's been shipped, so it wont be long til I see if there's more art to this queen.

But I've been accepting what the devs give us at every turn, so this does nothing but make things even clearer to me.

Diversity > sexy/bizarre sexual dimorphism imo. Also if people love their Hrothgar because it reminds them of Orcs and Tauren, then people will love female Hrothgar looking as bestial as the males (face, fur-texture, fangs, etc) because it'll remind them of their Khajiit and Charr.

I've literally only been saying, "They made Hrothgar to make the game more appealing/ welcoming to people who like Beast dudes. It's up to them if they want to try that with females, but those types are universally far less played than the males, so I understand if they don't". That's a decision for them to make.

It is 100% fact that we do not Fight a Female Hrothgar, & she is Not a Trial Boss. And there isn't a Female Hrothgar NPC in the game. Im not digging up stuff to whine about...I am calling out what your saying is false.

And actually...no. We can't blame Covid for no Female Hrothgar. Shadowbringers came out July 2, 2019.
This Pandemic didnt start till about March 2020
If Female Hrothgar were already 100% figured out and done...they would be here.

After seeing the positive reception of the Lupin characters we introduced in Stormblood, we concluded that, for the long-term health of FFXIV, it was important to implement a greater variety of character types beyond the traditionally beautiful in a future expansion. In truth, we had considered adding more beastly characters long before, and since this was possibly our last chance to do so, we decided that we should—much like we did with the Viera—in the interests of expanding the lore and the choices available to players.

Sure, this was said before they confirmed opposite genders of X race were confirmed to be coming, however I am hopeful that Yoshi-P and his team treat Hrothgar overall as the beast race and not make them the "Seton Academy" race.
