I don’t much mind the posture, the only thing I really noticed when creating a male was that the more heavily armored the midsection it did look a little warped. But I’m sure cpose would fix that, and overall I don’t mind it.

Yes, in the first job showcase when they were showing off the different armor for the level 90 sets, the ninja was a female Viera with the modern aesthetics ponytail hairstyle that you can get from the Gold Saucer. If they hadn't added some modern aesthetics to Viera, I doubt they would show it off in an official job showcase, but at the same time I wouldn't put my hopes up too much. Even if they'll add some hairstyles when Endwalker drops for Viera, I doubt it will be a lot or all of them. Keep your hopes high, but your expectations low.

They were designed this way, so there's nothing to "fix". Would they "change" it this close to the expansion release? Unlikely tbh, because it means they will potentially have to go through armor list again to check if anything changed in a critical way (even if the chance that nothing would change is close to 100%).

That said, if you don't like standard posture, your best bet would be non-standard idle poses and "lean" from Ishgard Restoration.

I'm fine with it, as long as there are half decent /cpose positions that I can look a little more attentive or a classic hand on hip side slouch.

I only think its a little weird, but its not enough to turn me off a race that helped lead me to start playing the game in the first place.
