    Agreed. Hate not the players, hate the game.
    Hunts are easily one of the biggest sources of fighting and conflicts in the game, and blaming other players doesn't accomplish much of anything.

    If enough people complain about the current state of hunts, SE may change the rules so hunts can be better for everyone.

    I'd also strongly advocate for an in-game tracker for S ranks.
    Nothing particularly fancy, just a feature that allows players to see if a S rank's minimum cooldown has been breached or not.

    Most the time don't I even get hit in before its dead. They should make it respawn like b rank and those that killed it before get put on a cool down. when the cool down is no they only get exp. from them till cool down ends and get also no achievement credit when there still on it.

    There are no experience points earned from killing an elite hunt mark of any rank. There's no point in killing them with anything other than your highest level job (unless you're trying to learn a BLU mage spell).

    They're not going to make Rank A and Rank S spawn like Rank B. They're intended to be rare.

    They're also intended to be hunted by players who plan to kill them on sight, not for players to wait several minutes for others in the community to show up. The organization of hunt communities is a player construct, not game design. SE actually does not like the way players have organized hunts.

    If you want to make certain you can get your hit in, use a skill that is instant cast instead of something that has a cast timer (or lead-in steps like Technical Finish). Better yet, be one of the those who are doing the hunting and spawning so you are already present.

    I'm not even sure if it'll be possible for certain A Realm Reborn hunt monsters to be killed equally by a bunch of people if one player eventually is able to practically one-hit them; this is going to become an even bigger problem with every new expansion release as well.

    Well they can just delay the death a few seconds if it dies too fast, to let everyone take a shot
    Like how Ultima Weapon not die immediately when hp dropped to 0.

    I actually really like this idea: Give S ranks a brief period where the can't be hit with a killing blow for a short period of time after they initially spawn. Please consider this, Square Enix! Otherwise, you won't be able to share lower hunt marks after enough expansions.

    I had a simpler idea on how they could fix the whole "hunts dying too quickly" thing recently, which would be just give them a special buff that caps their damage taken per hit at a value that falls in line with the amount of damage a well-geared player of the hunt's level would be dealing.

    Having a mob of level 80s attacking an ARR S ranks would thus be only marginally more effective then a mob of level 50s (Due to having more OGCDs, higher attack speed, etc), which means everyone would be able to contribute comparable amounts of damage regardless of whether they're still in ARR or at the endgame level-cap. You would still technically be able to solo something this way, too, it would just take a really, really long time, to such an extent that it would encourage forming large groups regardless of player/hunt level.

    It wouldn't be a perfect solution, but it sounds a lot more realistically doable then a total revamp of the hunt system.

    But why punish the people who don't wait for other people to do the work and send out a discord ping or whatever? Seems kind of backwards on the whole Hunt concept.

    I mean...the people who are out there actively spawning hunts are generally the ones sending out linkshell/discord relays in the first place.

    I am one of said people and on multiple occasions have lost out on getting full credit on difficult to locate hunts like Safat and Gandarewa because I popped them, but they were immediately relayed by a bot in the zone and offworlders showed up and swarmed the hunt before I could even find it. I should not have to cave and rely on the information being gathered by cheaters just to have a fair chance at getting credit for a hunt I spawned.

    Said programs still existed back before crossworld was a thing but the amount of locals who'd show up was too low to really put the hunts at much risk of dying before I could get to them.
