Not giving in to the wants and desires of people is not the same thing as neglect.
Yoshi-P wants to add another 10 years to this game; so going backwards now is exactly the same type of mistakes Blizzard made with World of Warcraft; when they transitioned from the very mainstream and user-friendly gameplay of Wraith of the Lich King; to the difficulty spike not-felt-since-TBC and learning curve of Cataclysm.
Sometimes you have to trust that the developers know what is best for their own game in the long term.
Whatever is "best" for the game's future, that sure looks like a double dose of Ambien to me.
