Let's not forget WHM, you see how they skipped over its slide in no time? And all we got was this new auto turret heal so we can spend more time casting f cking glare with its 1.5 second recast time.

I'm out, ive uninstalled FF14, I was expecting to be disappointed but its still baffling that they managed to DOUBLE DOWN on 5.0's changes.

You really think I care at this point? You know what I do when I got bored with healing? I either work on my non healer-classes or stop playing the game for a few months. and when I came back? I'm not bored anymore.

I can relate to wanting a drop more meat, and when I want that, I play something that has it instead and come back here when I'm full. I'm sorry that me daring to bring a more casual "I'm ok with this mentality" to a thread is so upsetting for you. I'd make a healer positivity thread but the salt always flows into it eventually so I'm going to pepper the salt with some positivity.

So by your standards, yes, I'm lazy, I've played games where healing was far far more boring then this. FFXIV at least lets me constantly do something as opposed to having to kneel and refund my mana and not do anything for long periods.

Compared to the other versions of it. Imo it is bad. They took out a lot of the things that i fell in love with it. such as the dots, pet management and the lost of the haste , aoe esuna and the learning curves. yes i do know it was pain, however there where macros that solved some of the issues with it.

Loved how i could use my fairy, placed it near the party , place a shield on it and spread that on the party. Wish selene had more due to eos had better heals, but she did have her uses. Great for during low level content with under geared tanks The thing i mad about about is that they did not put a lot of effort into it. Well it feels like it. really? we get a buff that increase movement speed and helps lowers damage we take? what stopping me from using swift cast succor and sprinting? Just a few button press.

Unless this buff also give other effects, but i doubt that.

I understand people like 5.0 i do to but it could have more, and i mean more. They could have kept bane and let it combo into art of war. that would solved that.

For those said people bye Felica and salty players( i don't understand this logic, does that mean my concerns from a job I used love is not valid no more while your are?) . Please show us the numbers. back in hw they actually showed an official census and not once they showed us what was going on.

all in all to say that i know they can do better with the sch changes and make feel better so that bother styles are relevant.

For me it was only for adlo and embrace, Physic & embrace. For the other skills that management the fairy actions i used the pet hot bar switch they had. to help mange them. I never really macro alot of the skills for it.

I don't remember all my macros (other account) but i distinctly recall macroing a lot of "embrace the tank".

People say they want micromanaging but then use macros to auto target fair heals. I hated it.

Im not going to lie that it had it issues back then and there was a lot of problems. but for me i didn't really mind micro management of the system. and with the storm blood alot of QOL has happened. but doing that imo took some things out that made it stick out more.

back then you had to level alot of skills to have them cross such as stone skin, protect , eye for an eye and virus for healers.

I... don't see what's wrong with that? Macros are a mainstay in other MMOs and an outright staple in WoW. The reason macros aren't generally used in FFXIV is because their implementation is as horrific as the netcode is. If macros actually worked the way they should, the vast majority of jobs would use them. GNB and DRK got abilities reworked in Endwalker to what they would be if macros worked properly.

The reason macros are basically unusable in FFXIV is because they have no ability queuing, which is only a problem if the action you're trying to perform can't be done during another action. Macroing the fairy didn't have that issue.
