Nice! I love fan-made music videos like this! It's kind of funny that the new Matrix trailer that just came out used the same song, and also has allusions to Alice in Wonderland, but clearly you beat them to the punch on that one!

I checked out all your videos, and this your best work yet, by far. You really embraced the theme and found creative ways to recreate the characters. One thing I'm curious about, though: is there a special reason your character's weapon is showing for most of the video, rather than hiding it? The aesthetic of all the glamours seem to be so meticulously designed, so I have to assume this is done on purpose. Perhaps I'm missing a reference to something? Anyway, great work! I look forward to your next video.

Oh, this is probably a stupid question, but you've seen Denmo Mcstronghuge's channel, yeah? Their FFXIV music videos are some of my favourite things on all of YouTube. I only bring them up, because I am wondering if you have any other music video creators that inspired you, or any you would recommend?

Denmo was inspiring, particularly his road trip music video. I kept the weapon exposed as a nod to American McGee’s Alice (a bit of edge), and also as a way of highlighting the FFXIV nature of the video.

Also, The Fashionista makes amazing videos. This one here is probably the best FFXIV music video I have ever seen. It is far beyond anything I can produce at this time. https://youtu.be/brJMFYcXUxc

Nice! I really need to sit myself down and get into Pink Floyd -- I'm not really familiar with them much, and all my friends who know my musical tastes are absolutely flabbergasted at me over it.

I noticed that bit at the beginning, with the kid saying "Look mummy! There's an airplane up in the sky!" I assume this is why you were looking for examples of NPC kids with their parents, in flight-enabled zones? Sorry we couldn't give you more material to work with, I think the game just didn't have much along that avenue. You still made a cool video out of it, though! Keep at it, and please let us know when there are more!

About how long (on average) does it take you to make one of these?

It takes me about 15-20 hours total, generally speaking. I’m working on a goth/industrial mix video which will take about 12 hours at the moment, and also a Nicki Minaj video which should take close to 25-30 hours total, mostly because there are many people and venues involved with it.
