There's nothing really wrong with huton-activation. My only problem with the mudras are hyoton and suiton, because by themselves they're rather useless, but they give you access to more powerful abilities.

Hyoton is like a "Flee" ability for ninjas ... I personally use it when I get aggro'd in the open world like Eureka, Bozja and probably will alot through the EW MSQ , they won't get rid of it , not everything is there to maximize your damage . Suiton is still a 600 potency attack + 300/500/1000 depending on what follow up is used , I would hardly call it useless even by self

Useless is probably the wrong word. I guess what I mean is, they share utility/function with other abilities, if you ignore the other abilities they give you access to, such as Trick Attack.
